Delete Your Avert AI Account

You can delete your Avert AI account and all of the data associated with it at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest way, and it takes effect immediately.

Open Avert AI and go to the Profile tab.
Under Account, tap Delete Account.
Confirm twice. Your account and data are erased and you are signed out.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, email hey@avertai.app from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Avert AI account deletion request”.

We verify the request comes from the account owner and complete deletion within 30 days. You will get an email confirming it is done.

What gets deleted

Everything below is erased permanently:

Your account and sign-in details
Your medical profile, conditions, allergies and emergency contacts
Medications and medication history
Daily check-ins and activity history
AI assistant conversations, including any images you sent
Family chat messages and family links
Emergency alert history

Deleting some of your data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your whole Avert AI account to remove data from it. Each of the following can be deleted on its own, from inside the app, and takes effect immediately:

A family chat message — press and hold the message in a family conversation. Delete for me removes it from your view; Delete for everyone removes it for both people, and is offered until the other person has read it.
A whole AI conversation — open the Ask tab, open the conversation list, and delete the conversation. Any images you attached to it are deleted with it.
A medication — press and hold it on the Home screen and confirm. Its record of doses taken is deleted with it.
A condition, allergy or emergency contact — open Profile › Medical Profile and remove the entry.
A document — open Profile › Health Wallet and delete the file. The stored copy is removed, not just the listing.

Deleting any of these is permanent and cannot be undone. Your account, and everything you have not deleted, is unaffected.

If you would rather we removed something for you, email hey@avertai.app from the account's own email address, saying what you want deleted. We action these within 30 days.

What we keep, and for how long

We retain nothing that identifies you after deletion. Where a record must be kept to meet a legal or accounting obligation — for example a subscription payment receipt, which is held by Google Play or Apple rather than by us — it is kept only for as long as that obligation requires, and it is not linked to your deleted profile.

Subscriptions are billed by Google Play or the App Store, not by Avert AI. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in the Google Play Store or in your Apple subscription settings.
